Debra Fuentes, LPCC-S, LICDC-CS, SAP, ACHT
Debra is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S), a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor-Clinical Supervisor (LICDC-CS), and a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) with over 25 years of experience. Debra specializes in trauma, TF-CBT, and specific needs of children at-risk for emotional and behavioral problems. She utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral, Person-Centered, and Gestalt techniques in her practice. Debra is trained in hypnotherapy and Reiki intertwining traditional talk therapy with other mindfulness techniques to help you cope with Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Trauma, and other disorders. It is through this process she guides you and helps you find your inner strength and restore hope and purpose in your life again.
Ann Marie Petricca, LPCC
Ann Marie has been working with children and families since 2005. Her primary focus is on elementary age children through young adults. She specializes in trauma, TF-CBT, Parent Child Interactive Therapy, and specific needs of children at-risk for emotional and behavioral problems. She utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral, Person-Centered, and Gestalt techniques in her practice. Utilizing her creative skills, eclectic therapy techniques and listening to the client’s needs, she has found success working with children, teens, adults, couples, families and individuals struggling with grief and loss, adjustment disorder, trauma, parenting skills, family communication/ interactions, couples, coping skills, anxiety, depression, obsessive thoughts and compulsive actions. Ann Marie's philosophy of providing a positive therapeutic outcome and “to have the privilege of walking beside her clients on their journey.”
Dr. Cynthia Cohen, PhD
Dr. Cynthia Cohen believes in the winning combination of a healthy mindset and healthy body. She holds the role of Chemical Dependency Counselor at Fuentes Counseling Services. Dr. Cohen tailors her therapeutic support to the needs of individual clients who are in recovery from substance use and behavioral addictions. She also works with the caregivers and family members of individuals recovering from addictions. Treatment might include identification of triggers and cognitive distortions; development of effective coping tools; strengthening self-efficacy; maintaining a sober lifestyle; managing caregiver burnout; and addressing lapses/relapses. Working with her clients, Dr. Cohen draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, community reinforcement and family training (CRAFT), dialectical behavioral therapy, 12-step programs, as well as other therapeutic modalities. She holds a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from California Southern University and a bachelor degree from Yale University. In addition, she holds certification as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) and a Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS). She completed training in tobacco cessation to assist individuals recovering from nicotine addiction. Dr. Cohen is under the supervision of Debbie Fuentes as she pursues her license as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC).
